Excited to say these three illustrations will be in the Society of Illustrators 57 Annual and show in January. Incredibly thankful to all the judges for uncommissioned work, and see you in NY:)

Environmental Teaching: Rethinking Schools

I have this illustration in an upcoming book called "A People's Curriculum for the Earth: Teaching About the Environmental Crisis" from Rethinking Schools. Love it when my artwork is used towards education and the environment!

NYTimes Letters: On Raising Children Outside of Marriage

Illustrated for NY Times letters, on the subject of the difficulties of single parenthood (particularly for women struggling economically). I was glad to be asked to illustrate for this conversation, as I have a particular passion about resolving this issue in America. Thanks to Nathan Huang for the assignment!

Just thought I'd update on the upcoming children's books I've illustrated.. Papa Gave Me a Stick (Starbright Books), and The Red Bicycle (Kids Can Press) will both be coming out Spring of 2015!

Harvard Business Review

Just did this illustration for Harvard Business Review, for an article about the World Wildlife Fund changing it's business strategies. Love illustrating anything environmental and/or tied to animals! Thought I'd show some process work here-- sketch ideas next to the final-- thanks to designer Annie Chin for the assignment!

New Year News and Ensign Magazine

It's 2014! Hope everyone has started their new year off

Cricket and Westchester

Got to illustrate for a wonderful poem in Cricket Magazine--I was happy to illustrate for a children's magazine that I once used to subscribe to when I was a kid:).  Also, a funny article about Mother's Day from the perspective of a mother of the canine-kind for Westchester Magazine (article here)! .

Some new work above: an illustration for 5280 Magazine about Colorado's rivers being affected by drought, an Opt Ed Illustration for NY Times about home flood insurance, and Illustration for Wired Magazine about the upcoming new TVs coming out-and the overwhelmed consumer.  Really enjoyed all illustrations, especially the Opt Ed piece.
